I am interested in accessing a taboo enormity of the female voice, and empowering other women to develop their own singular sounds. An ugly duckling singer since childhood, it wasn’t until my 30s that I had the courage and maturity to lean into my more unusual vocal qualities, and learned once again that deep beauty may come from strangeness. I am known for rich and resonant lower tones and a three and a half octave range that stretches to the whistle register (B2 to F#6).
